Mental Help Global (MHG) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit developing mental health support for those who endure war — soldiers, veterans, prisoners of war, and conflict-affected communities.
Our AI-powered platform is being built to provide support in Ukrainian, russian, and English, designed around the realities of military life — including for users in low-connectivity environments, with data privacy and security as core design principles. We aim to supplement one-on-one therapeutic care, not replace it — helping close accessibility gaps while connecting people to human clinicians and crisis support when it matters most.
MHG works in partnership with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, and Ukraine's Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War. Our clinical approach is developed by our therapy team together with therapists from our partner organizations, and we are building transparent tracking of outcomes and mental health metrics to support researchers and improve care.
Privacy & security: servers will be located within each country where the platform is deployed, to protect user safety and data.
Cultural grounding: built natively in local languages — not translated — for linguistic precision and relevance.
Beyond Ukraine: our Ukraine pilot serves as the foundation for extending the platform to other crisis regions worldwide.
