501(c)(3) NONPROFIT · PILOTING IN UKRAINE

Support for those who endure war.

Mental Help Global is developing free, privacy-first, 24/7 AI-powered mental health support for soldiers, veterans, prisoners of war, and conflict-affected communities — built to reach where clinicians can't.

What we're building

Accessible mental health care when it's needed most

Our pilot program under development in Ukraine aims to address the mental health crisis affecting millions of people impacted by war, trauma, and displacement — supplementing one-on-one therapeutic care, not replacing it.

Free & Accessible

Our objective is a no-cost, no-barriers support tool — available to anyone, anywhere, at any time, including in low-connectivity environments.

Privacy-First

Conversations are confidential, with data privacy and security as core design principles. Servers will be hosted locally within Ukraine.

AI-Powered Care

Evidence-based therapeutic techniques, adapted with clinicians to each community we serve — being built to provide support in Ukrainian, russian, and English.

Who we serve

Different communities. Different needs.

One of our core findings: there is no universal AI model that serves every user group without thoughtful adaptation. A police officer's needs differ from a combat soldier's, a POW's from a veteran's. We build for each.

ACTIVE DUTY

Soldiers

Daily readiness check-ins, sleep and stress tools built for rotation life — offline-capable, five seconds a day.

AFTER SERVICE

Veterans

Reintegration-focused support: isolation, purpose, connection — with peer channels of people who were there.

CAPTIVITY & RETURN

Prisoners of war

Specialized support developed with Ukraine's Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

EVERYONE WAR REACHES

Civilians & families

The platform is being developed to extend accessible, evidence-based support to the broader civilian population.

The product

Built like a tool, not an app store wellness product

  • Five-second daily check-ins — one-tap signals for mood, sleep, exposure, and connection.
  • AI text support, no calls — private, judgment-free, available at 03:00 in a dugout or at home.
  • Private by architecture — commanders see anonymous unit trends only; never names.
  • Adapted per community — specialized knowledge bases for each profession and context, refined continuously with psychologists, clinicians, and operational experts.

Partnerships

Working alongside Ukraine's institutions

MHG works in partnership with Ukrainian government institutions, adapting the platform to the realities of those who serve and protect.

DEFENSE

Armed Forces of Ukraine

LAW ENFORCEMENT

National Police of Ukraine

POW TREATMENT

Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War

"Effective AI support must be adapted to the people it is designed to serve. The practical needs of a police officer differ significantly from those of a combat soldier, a military medic, or a family member of a service member — their terminology, environments, and experiences all shape what support is most helpful."

Clinical foundation

Built with expertise

Our therapy team & partner clinicians

Our clinical approach is developed by our therapy team together with therapists from our partner organizations, with continuous evaluation of the platform's behavior and knowledge base.

Clinical collaborators

We work with the GUR POW Coordination Headquarters, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the National Police Academy's Mental Health Coordination Hub to ground the platform in the realities of those it serves.
