Our Mission
Mental Help Global (MHG) is a nonprofit, open-source AI platform designed to provide mental health support in any language, anytime, anywhere in the world.
Our pilot launch in Ukraine addresses one of the world’s most urgent mental health crises, where millions face trauma, PTSD, and grief amid ongoing conflict and displacement.
What We Do
Supplement Traditional Care
We don’t replace therapists—we amplify their reach. Our AI provides psychoeducation, coping strategies, and emotional support to help bridge accessibility gaps in one-on-one therapy.
Track Impact Transparently
We work closely with researchers to measure mental health metrics and ensure our impact is meaningful and evidence-based.
Collaborate Locally
Our approach is rooted in partnerships with local universities, mental health professionals, and NGOs. Oversight from a global team ensures cultural relevance and inclusivity.
Why Ukraine?
Ukraine has fewer than 1 mental health professional for every 100,000 people—25 times less than countries like the United States. With over 15 million Ukrainians in need of mental health support, the gap between need and access is critical.
Our Ukraine pilot serves as a foundation for expanding to other crisis regions worldwide, proving that innovative technology can create meaningful change in mental health care.
Our Commitment
Privacy & Security: Servers are located within each country where the AI is deployed to ensure user safety and data protection.
Cultural Sensitivity: Built natively in local languages—not translated—to ensure linguistic precision and relevance.
Community Resilience: We’re committed to fostering community healing and making a lasting impact on global mental health.
